Situation: The cars ahead of you on the road are kicking up lots of dirty water, which is instantly drying on your car windshield, obscuring your view.
Problem: Your windshield wiper fluid seems to be frozen, or empty, or something. At any rate, it's not coming out to clean your windshield.
Solution: Get behind the vehicle kicking up the most water (in my case, a semi), and use that water to clean your windshield. Yeah, it's still dirty, but it's enough liquid for your wipers to work with to get the rest of the dirt off.
I know. I'm a genius.
Hippotherapy for James
-
Contrary to popular belief, "hippotherapy" is therapy using horses, not
hippos.
James LOVES horses, so I was excited to start hippotherapy at Hope Landing ...

You're so funny. I luv how that brain of yours thinks...
ReplyDeleteGirlie, if you be up! Call me...miss you....[puppy sad face] or should it be [kitty meow face]
ReplyDeleteI hate it when the water kicks up. I'm afraid, since it's basically misty gray and so is my car if I just get lost in the grayness and no one can see me.
ReplyDeleteWell, Lydia knows how I feel about things on my face, which also translates to things on my car Rufus' face...so I am pretty well stocked with washer fluid.
ReplyDeleteBut, yes, great idea!
One time Joe was on a trip and they were cleaning the windshield and it flew to the car behind. So they sped up and squirted Joe's vehicle. Drive-by squirting! What is the world coming to??
Lea, how do you feel about things on your face? I'm kinda weird about things touching my face, too. I don't like my ears to be touched nor do I like anyone playing with my hair. Maybe that's also why I can't seem to find a hairdresser I like.
ReplyDeleteOh that stuff I am fine with for the most part. I think it all started when I was a child and I didn't like to get my face wet. I still don't. I don't like things obstructing my vision. I DO NOT like pudding on my face (APO), mist, fuzzies and so on.
ReplyDeleteHairdressers! You think if all of these people got licensed somehow, there would be more consistency, BUT NO! Did you ever go to Delia? I think she's down by Ninfa's somewhere at some funky-named salon now.
Lydia - how exactly is this innovation number 14??? I believe this is number 1 (or at least number 1 in your "innovation #" series). Your math seems to be a little off, maybe Teresa can help you with that.
ReplyDeleteWell, I figured somebody would call me on it! I've started labeling the innovation ideas, and I'm actually on about #8 (if you include multiple ideas in one post). The point was to put a random number up there. Oh, well! :)
